Participation is open to all Indian Residents and NRIs who have passed their class 12th examinations and are not above the age of 40 years as on date. The participant must be a registered student in any recognized college course. However, all those who have cleared thire class 12th examinations and have joined Coaching Institutes for any competitive examinations, are also eligible to participate. He/she must have cleared Under Graduate/Post Graduate Examinations in the past.
YES. College status of the winners of the Online Quiz will be verified by the concerned Branches / Prant of Bharat Vikas Parishad from the original documents of the participants. In case the status of the winning participants turns out to be false, he/she will be disqualified and will not be considered for any prizes or medals. However, in case the document cannot be verified, Bharat Vikas Parishad may take a decision based upon individual merit and shall take a decision accordingly.
In case of a Tie where two or more contestants have the same score, the Tie-breaker questions in the exam shall be taken into consideration, and the performance in the Tie-breaker questions will decide the winner.
The Tie-breaker Questions are Question No.5, 10, 15,20,25,30 and35.
A contestant who has correctly answered a higher number of these 7 Tie-breaker questions will be declared the winner in that level.
In case of two or more participants scoring exactly the same even after checking their performances on tie-breaker questions, then their performance in Question No. 40, 45 and 50 shall be taken into account to decide the winner.
In a rare situation, if there is still a Tie between the candidates, their date of birth shall be taken into consideration and the younger participant shall be declared the winner.

Participants are free to refer other sources of information to prepare for the quiz. In a nutshell, it will include everything, every matter, people and subjects etc. which involve India and the Indians.
